Your clients' data stays at home.
Alfred is an application installed on your computer, not an online service that keeps your clients. Here is what happens to the data, plainly.
Encrypted archive on your computer
Contacts, messages, notes and drafts sit in an encrypted archive. The key is in the Mac's keychain, not in a file.
Voice notes transcribed locally
WhatsApp voice notes, memos and what you record with the «Record» button, even on site or at a client's, are transcribed on your computer: the audio never leaves.
Only what's needed goes to the AI
The artificial intelligence model receives only the text needed for the task at hand, never the whole archive.
Minimal access
From Google we only ask to read email, prepare drafts and use a dedicated calendar. No access to your whole Drive.
Nothing goes out without you
No message is sent without your approval, except the categories you switched on yourself one by one.
Export or delete everything
With one button you make a complete copy of the data, or delete it from the computer.
Who sees what
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your computer | Everything: archive, diary, documents | It's where Alfred works |
| Google (Gmail, Calendar) | What's already in your email and calendar | Reading emails, preparing drafts, adding appointments |
| Meta (WhatsApp Business) | WhatsApp messages, as today | Receiving and sending from your number |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Only the text of the current task | Understanding messages and writing drafts and documents |
| Us | Nothing, except when you ask us for support | Installation and support, under a written agreement |
Privacy and GDPR
- You remain the controller of your clients' data; when we give you support we act as processor, under a written agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
- No advertising, no selling of data, no statistics with your content.
- The archive is made of ordinary folders and files: they stay yours even if you stop using Alfred.
